It looks outstanding indeed
I hope that anyone will get me wrong, but I suspect that Zvezda have made this mould in China...

Over the years looking at some of Zveazda's new releases...they have a DML feel to them...maybe they are using the same software/mold makers?

Nowadays Chinese have the more advanced plastic injection molding technology.
It seems to me quite strange that suddenly Zvezda have become to produce such outstanding kits. I've recently bought these figure sets

https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/144723
and I have in my stash this kit
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXYDH5
Well figure sets are impressive whereas the ba-10 kit is quite rough...
I think they have become to make their moulds in China....but if their prices still remain quite low, I'll be incredibly happy
Furthermore looking at the kit sprues I've noticed that hull parts are separated from the rest of the kit.....so most likely their next kit could be a T-72BM...
....and If it were true I'd be far happier

As far as I know, most of the products, Zvezda makes herself at their molds and their equipment.
Some sets of figures Zvezda orders from other firms have information that the firm ICM, in which the mold from China.

Well if they have made this kit themselves, it would be a great achievement and an incredibly improvement.
Anyway it was just my guess which I can't prove it
If you're right, congrats indeed to Zvezda!

Alan, I preordered mine at Hobbyeasy
They listed it to arrive on 1/25/2012, but often they receive new items sooner than expected, and have an excellent customer service
I prefer to wait about a month, but get it from a reliable source, with very good prices also!

What about Hobby Search (1999.co.jp) ? That's where I pre-ordered mine from along with some *ahem* things from my other hobby....
Days ago I saw on of these pop up on ebay. Though I think I might wait, though if I get impatient, I just might.

do they charge you when you place the order or when it in stock and ready to be shipped?

They "bill" you when item is in stock and ready to ship.

Wow thats good! Top marks to Zvezda on this one. The detail is insane, certainly gives the Miniarm stuff a run for its money.
The only thing I think needs improving is the subtle texture on the anti-radiation cladding and also some detail to the retaining bolts (voyager make a PE set)

Mine arrived today- extremely nice. Interesting how they did the tracks...link and length with seperate hollow guide horns. The guide horns are also "link and length not individual. Vinyl mesh (No PE) for the screens but I am sure the aftermarket will do those. I may have to clear off the bench!

It's available at Jadar Hobby Shop.. for the guys in Europe.. $37 with shipping to Egypt. If you're wondering, I've ordered from them several times and their service is good.
