Okay here are some pictures of the kit finished and ready to paint. Sometimes I hate messing with PE.

Here are some pictures of the Pre Shading
I painted the Tries with a mixture of Tamiya Nato Black and Flat Black, and Guiza Flat Base thinned with Tamiya Lacquer

Second color of paint is Tamiya Buff mixed with Flat White then thinned with Tamiya Lacquer.

great job ,realy makes me want to go out and spend more money this month and do a m1117 ,those wheels realy look the part and your desert colour looks a1 to me .. good clean build and first rate paint job , looking forward to the completion ,

real ASV's glass, if you want to call it that are clear. For example, you'll have to excuse the dust, Afghanistan has a crap ton of it but you get the idea.

Here is the last coat of paint. I Used Testor Sand mixed with flat white. The next step is to apply filters, chipping and decals.

Thanks for the great comments, I bought all the how to do it videos from Mig Jimenez and used some of his techniques mixed them with what I have learned and picked up over the years. I used Testor’s acrylic raw umber and just free handed the chips like Mig Jimenez did in his video. It achieves a really nice affect!!
I also went to the Primeportal.net. I used the pictures of the M1117 they had as a guide to paint mine.
