Alpine, 2 Gasoline, Rest Models are all about the same size and compare with Taimya figures (Tamiya are definitely skinnier/smaller still - not shown)

Propaganda Kompany, Dartmoor, Total War Miniatures, Art of War (&ICM not shown) are on the larger side but still look good next to vehicles, but not other figures.

I never see any modern 1/48. I know gasoline makes a 1/48 Abrams, and Aurora used to produce an MBT-70 way back then, but it seems like WWII is the most popular.

That's true. Tamiya has only made the Humvees so far.

Gasoline has mostly French Modern but they also have a T-62, Buffalo MRAP, and others.

Dtoys has made a few

Propaganda Kompany has a lot but in my opinion not as well made as Gasoline

I'm still hoping for a LAV and Bradley

I got those Russian guys today from Ukraine and couldn't be happier with their quality. Here we have a German from Evolution and a Tamiya.

Hi, unfortunately track48 in Canada doesn't have these, but in the US Military Miniatures Warehouse has them with good service. Here's the link. They are expensive but cheaper then 1/35 so get them while you can I say.

The driver in the Tamiya Universal Carrier seems to be about 10 even if he lied about his age he would have failed the medical.

Here's evolution website with distributers

@David - LOL, yeah I really don't see those Tamiya figures as very promising. I just steal their gear for other figures.
