Nice work, looks deceptively like it's 1/35 big brother. What paint did you use to handbrush it with?

Jeremy, thanks bro. For the base color, i used tamiya dark yellow mixed with buff. The green cammo was vallejo 833 Bright Cammo green.
Brown was vallejo mahagony sand.

That's double impressive that you painted the base with Tamiya. It's good paint, but not exactly easy to hand paint with a brush. I want to build another one of these now, dang it!

Zaidi! fantastic work, i too brushpaint with tamiya and i coulnd never acheive a finish this good, congratulations!
my only point is the periscope guard and gunsheild look a little to thick, but this does not detract whatsoever from your build.
nice one

Thanks all for the kind words. I still learning about some painting method. I agree that handpainting tamiya XF was real PITA. It's really pure luck for me this time.

when all color are done, i apply gloss coat..and then decal...and then flat coat.
after that i shoot tamiya buff distance away to fade the paint. then a few washes, filter do the rest.... then final coat of buff (very thinned) and matt varnish.

good luck bro...dont spray too close otherwise u will get quite a solid buff color, marring the base color ..keep it about 10 inches away.... u may vary the distance depending on level of 'buff' intensity you wanna achieve..the closer, more solid tone and the other way round...
