This is my Italeri/Zvezda BT-5 that I built for the Barbarossa Campaign. This is not a shake and bake kit and a lot of filler was required in the seams. It's painted in Tamiya Olive Drab overall. It was weathered with pastel dust.
I would like to thank Artur Szopa (Tomcat14) who sent in the Eduard PE set for this kit. The set was a big improvement to some of the parts in the kit.
I would also like to thank Adam Vukich (avukich) who generously shared his wealth of knowledge and experience. His references showed me what needed to be improved on the kit.
Special thanks to GIBeregovoy who offered to scan the pics for me. His skill at image manipulation produced pics that were small in KBs but big in resolution.

Hi Jeep , the 4th pic really shows the work that you put into weathering the paint , kind of what i have in mind for the m1 . It has that sun faded look to it , nice work ! I'm not that familiar with this tank ? or is it a armored car ? or a converted tank ? The reason i'm asking is the front wheels seem to be turned to the left just a little bit , or are they dry fitted ? the nose has a truck look about it also , just wondering ? keep it up buddy see you later

Lord Muncher aka "Da Man"
Very very well done here. The build looks very clean---paint job and weathering is first rate. This is good stuff.
ps: I agree, those Zvezda's can be frustrating, but this model is solid---Congrats.

Lord Muncher,
Da BT5 is awesome, looked very well built and nicely painted and weathered. I especially like the pic that the wheels are tilted to one direction thingy.
This is good stuff.

John,
Hey, you have done a beautiful job on the BT-5. The color tone is great. All in all, it's a clean build. Hope to see it finished.

Thanks for the replies guys! This is a BT-5. It is based on the Christie chassis. It can run on either wheels or tracks. I wanted to show it on its wheels to highlight this unique attribute. When on wheels the tank steers via the front roadwheels hence the angle on the front wheels
The faded OD application was particularly inspired by the excellent OD paintjobs from the ODMeister aka SteveWWH. Base coat was Tamiya Black Green, followed by a thin coat of Tamiya OD, then highlighted with Tamiya OD + Tamiya Khaki. Da GF weathered the nose with pastels
