I got a PM yesterday which struck me as rather strange. It was from a member (since 2008 but no posts) and was very vague about something I'd be interested in but had to email them.... I did nothing while I thought about it and today the PM has disappeared. Anyone else experience something similar?

That's very bizarre. It's even more strange that they were able to take the message back or that it disappeared.

I think that's what happened. Someone informed me of a PM spammer yesterday (or Tuesday) and I banned them. In that scenario all their messages in the system would be removed.
