Has anyone ever heard of Harold Coyle, the author? I just read the first of his modern military fiction series titled "Team Yankee". WOW! It's about how WW3 starts at the hite of the cold war in the late 1980's. To sum it up, the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact cross the Fulda Gap into West Germany and war begins with NATO.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a campaign for these fictional novels.

The next books in the series are Sword Point, Bright Star, Trial by Fire, The Ten Thousand, and Code of Honor. He then starts his Civil War series. There are more modern fictionals, according to Wikipedia. From what I hear, the story starts to drift away from the Warsaw Pact / NATO theme after Sword Point. I don't know, I just read Team Yankee and am excited.

a Broader campaign may work, perhaps, a literature campaign, and use fiction or non fiction scenes from books to create a scene, this could be anything with a war like theme?

I have read and re-read almost all of his books. A while back somebody tried to get a "Team Yankee" campaign going but it fell apart. I was up for the last one and would be up for a new one.

This sounds similar to the "What If" campaign. I would suggest putting it off for a few months or sticking to Coyle's campaign. Just my 2 cents.

Matt, I agree. I think I will wait until the "What If" campaign is over. I don't wanna step on any toes either. I think a Team Yankee campaign would be better, more specific, if enough people would commit.
