A great dio John. There's plenty of detail everywhere and the whitewash on the Stug is fantastic- the figures are bloody good too.
Could you tell us a little more about what you used (kits, paints, weathering etc)?
I'd particularly like to know what you used for the mud and snow.
Cheers,

Thanks for the comments guys.
Karl, Stug is the Orange Box from Dragon, tank commander is from Tank and the other figure is Dragon. Building is MiniArt as are a lot of the bit lying around as well as other parts from the spares box and styrene strip, all painting is Tamiya Acrylics.
The mud is real soil mixed with water and white glue and the snow is simply bicarbonate of soda sprinkled on top...

Hi John,
nice scene!! Good composition and balance! Figure painting is superb, Whitewash on the Stug is great too!!
Also like the photos!!! Very athmospheric!!
One thing maybe: I don't know if it might just be the pics, but the stuff that's lying around is a little too "uniform" in colour for my taste. Rust can be anything from orange to dk brick red, and a tad of variation might do the trick!
Also, I would have used one cart wheel only (or broken the second up)
Just my 2p worth!
Cheers

Thanks Romain, the rust is a little less uniform in real life but you are definately right about the cart wheel

Yo John,
Nice work you showing here. Great story.
Looks good to me, my only point is to put some more snow on the barricade self. its to "dry" I think...and maybe a commercial sign above to entrance of the factory for more contrast.
Nice work!

John, Excellent dio there. I'm in the process of building the same Mini-Art Garage for the Urban Warfare Campaign and would love to see some more of you building and if you did anything with the inside portion of it

Sal, Greg, thanks for the comments.
Sal, the building is simply a facade, there is nothing behind it.

Hey John
A nice tight little scene here mate. The other comments seem to have it covered, so all I'll add is that I would have rotated the soldier's left hand to imply the he is grabbing the steel bar as he passes... A small thing but one that ties him in a little more to the scene maybe...
