Dave, you should be proud!! Fine work. I do have one (minor) suggestion: I would dust up the tires and lower chassis a bit, maybe with some light dry brushing or pastels.

Good Job!
Shaun

Ok ill do that in a bit drybrush it with a lighter black and stuff.

As for the windshield I covered the spot where the wipers would go with electrical tape then did a brown wash and wiped off, then drybrushed with a brown and black. Then took off the tape and strarted scratchign and scrapping with my finger nails and some sand paper.

Nice build. Quick too. It came out very well.
I agree with keenan, touch up the wheels and undercarrage with some 'dirt' to match the windscreen a bit more.

I think it looks very good. My only comment, and this is a VERY small nit pick, is I think the clean areas on the windshield should be more symetrical. On my car when it's dirty, which it usually is, this is the case. This could just be the way the photos look though.

nice kubel mate. As has been said before dirty up the lower chassis and tires. Also Don't forget to dirty the decals when you put them on.

A good model

Nice weathering job. Look like it was out in wet weather ....... that little sheen gives a nice wet look. Nice colours for the leather of the seats and hood and well blended into the scheme of the vehicle.
One thing that stands out to me is the gaps above each wheel arch. The "hull" doesnt seem to be properly fixed down. This is very eveident in the last picture ... especially at the front!

Dav

I really enjoyed reading your thread here, and then viewing your pics. It's apparent from your narrative that you really enjoyed this build, and are pleased with what you've accomplished---one can't ask for much more than that. Congrats on a good looking build.

The spade is well done, as is the stowed leather look. The only thing I noted was the tire sheen which has been noted above, the unique windshield weathering---thanks for explainng how, and the fact that this is just a nice looking modeling effort.

Nce quick build. As PM noted above, the license plate decals, indeed, all the decals are missing. You should apply decals before doing any weathrering so they'll blend in with the rtest of the weathering.
My own point...think consistency. To have that much grime on the windshield, you'd need a whole lot more dirt on the vehicle. The windshield is the highest point and the one spot the crew is likely to clean regularly.

Yeah I was actually going to muddy up the whole vehicle But had some problems with the mud : And as for the decals im gonna go add those ina bit and do a bit of weathering on them. And hopefully make some mud.

I like your work although one thing I am not sure about is that big gap between the windshield and the body. All reference photos I have seen do not show this gap. Is this what instructions tell you to do?
