grass has been painted

basic german grey

assuming a directional light source and add highlights

blue brown filter




still a lot of work to do,small figures and clear resin “water”

anthony,that vegitation is "dry branch"used for decoration,i don't know the exact name,sorry
well i'll use clear resin to make water

i just finished the figures and the first layer of "water"
the figures are from preiser dragon and caeasar.really small ones, only 2CM high
this is dragon's paratrooper,i did have a tough time dealing with that tiny camo suit

caesar tank crew. made of soft plastic and details are no match for Dragon ones

now i'm waiting the resin to dry and put another two layers

wow, this is 1 ot the best 1/72 Tiger II's and Diorama's i'v ever seen.
how did you weather that Tiger so nicely? what paint did u use?

loving the update on your progress this looks great
can tell the difference between the figures!
im not suprised the camo in the uniforms was difficult!
i have some 1/72 resin ww2 s.a.s figures and ive just started to paint the denison smock lol still need to finish the jeeps though!
liking the water. how easy is making the water??

hi jan, what do u mean exactly?what color i use for weathering?well i use lifecolor, tamiya enamels,mig's products,pigments,oils...and many more.
maybe we can get a clearer answer by Specificing the question a little bit

hi anthony,making still water like this is quite simple,just dye the mixture of clear resin and hardener and pull it on the "river bed". three thin layers of different colors may creat a nice realistic water effect,i'll update more later.
