Hi Andrew,
I'm not the expert in Shermans (too many variants, too short a lifespan), but from my limited knowledge I'd say you did a brilliant job!
What I can tell is your attention to detail!!! The .50 barrel is drilled out, there is an ammo band fed from the box, etc!!
Like that a lot!!
Impatient to see the little thing painted!!
Cheers
Romain

Great looking Sherman Andrew. I'm looking forward to seeing this done up in North Irish Horse livery.

I'm definately not a Sherman guy, as I prefer Russo-Soviet armor. But, I'd say you have done a bang up job. I wouldn't even attempt to drill out a 50cal barrel. An eye for detail on so simple a vehicle. If your painting and weathering skills are nearly as good as your eye for detail, I'd say this is going to be one great build.

thanks guys for your interest
i hadnt built any proper shermans before
and once i found out the North Irish Horse had a few
i decided to build them
i got no responces from another site
i did enjoy building them
dragon kits and italeria kits have lots of spares in them
which is good for the early builds
regards andrew

I dig this project, and am looking forward to it. It's not often that we get to see Irish armor here
