Following on from my last post, here is the completed Zundapp for the Barbarossa campaign. This kit is part of the Flak 88 made by Tamiya which was what I had planned to make for the campaign but did not start early enough to complete. The Zundap is accompanied by a feldgendarm from Dragon which I think has a great post. The figure was done this morning and took about 4 hours. When i was taking pics of the models the paint was not even dry, and got badly smudged on the back (I use a lot of oils which take forever to dry).
Anyway here they are:
BTW how do I document my completion for the purposes of the campaign. Have I done enough to qualify for a campaign ribbon?
The campaign has been lots of fun and I have enjoyed both feedback on my modelling skills as well as seeing everyone else's fantastic work.
Cheers
Nick

yeah very nice I like the dirt in the tire profile,
exelent job on the figure and making the bike dirty
but maybe you cut put some dirt on the very white number plate of the bike?
just my 2 cents
cheers

Good call zer0_co0l
Also after taking the pics I noticed the headlight cover is not hollow and you can see the base colour in the slot. A bit of black should do the trick. The eduard set also came with brake levers for the handle bars but they kept falling off. I will rectify that one day for my own satisfaction.

Very nice work , two very small things that i see . You might want to add a bit of rust to the muffler , and blend the base the rider is standing on into the main base (the plastic card he is glued to really stands out ! ) I have a spare one of these left over from my 88 kit also might have to try something like this . Good job
