Hi Mauro,
As the others have already pointed out, the kit provides only vinyl tracks - but they're not bad.
The thing I forgot to mention earlier is that the welds on the hull need to be raised so that they are either level with the hull plates or even slightly raised.
Dierk

I know Dierk, DML vinyl tracks are very good indeed, actually I've already used them. They can be also mounted in an easier way than the magic tracks. On the other hand, workable tracks are always more realistic than vinyl ones, especially if you want to set your tank in a diorama with a rough terrain. In my humble opinion, considering the high price, it would be better than DML gave workable tracks.
Thanks a lot for the explanations about the weld seems

cheers

If you want to go with link by link I can recommend Panda's. Its fairly easy to make and its semi-workable. AFV clubs is similar. From what I have read, most tanks sent to the Soviets had either T-49 or T-51 track.

Hi Mauro, mine was OK, but it is a really tight fit, so as it is quite flexible any deformity should get straightened out when you put it on (maybe soak it in hot water first?)
Maybe I didn't degrease mine sufficiently, but I found it really difficult to stop it from being glossy:-? (matt paint - glossy, covered with Mr. Surfacer - still glossy, more matt paint - still glossy, followed by matt lacquer + dust pigments - pretty good)

I think so. It may be unnecessary to soack it in hot water. Probably it could be enough fix it to the turret. Anyway yesterday I got straightened it a little bit just using my fingers and It looked better. Regarding the glossiness, thanks for the tips, I'll follow them. To be honest it seems to me incredibly well moulded indeed, but I usually HATE vinyl parts. However I've noticed that most of Russian Sherman's didn't carry the dust cover tarp

Now I'd like to know if there some issues in instruction sheet. As you know, DML kits on average are outstanding but they could have this kind of problem.

(Alexandr, I apologize to use your tread to ask more information about mine Russian Sherman. If you mind I'll stop immediately)

Cheers, and many thanks in advance

Hi Mauro, I sent you a PM, as there are a lot of inaccuracies in the Dragon instructions...
