TUNA-
Very good StuG.....
I especially like the panel fading you did....shows up best in the fourth pic. How did you do that? Was that airbrushing with a lighter shade of the base? Looks VERY good!
One thing you might consider is putting a "lens" effect on the commander's and gunner's periscopes. Paint the inside of the hole gunmetal and then add a drop of canopy glue - the kind the airplane guys use to glue canopies. It dries clear, and with the semi-gloss black of gunmetal behind it -produces a cool lens effect.
These campaigns are fun aren't they... I it helps me finish what I start, because I know others will be seeing the end product. There is a North Africa campaign, led by Vlady that just got under way on Sept. 15th, I think. Open to all vehicles that served in the North Africa theatre during WWII. Joint that - see what you can cook up, eh? Check for the "under the sun" thread over on the campaign message board - that spells out the rules and stuff.
Very, very nice StuG indeed!
Later-
Jeff

Hi Jeff, for the Panel Shading I used very Whiteish Pastels.. I would've like to have done it with an Airbrush, but I'm not that comfortable/talented enough with the airburs yet to attempt that...
I'll look into that DAK campaign...
thanks

Charlie, very impressive. I like it a lot, especially how you did the wood, what color you were using?
