I've finished building the Pak 38 and figures of the utterly horrible 5cm PAK38 w/Fallschirmjager kit by Dragon. When I was putting the figures into my desired position, I realized that my gunner didn't fit. I want to ask any of you that have had experience with this kit how you put your gunner into position.
Thank you!

How do you put the gunner on this Pak 38?

The gunner usually knelt behind the sighting equipment, or sat on or straddled the left trail leg, depending on how wide apart they are spread. You may even have to end up Frankensteining parts of another figure for the desired position.

I'm not too sure about the Italaeri gunners - these look like the same crew provided for the old Esci 7.5cm LIG to me! Bear in mind also that the 7.5cm PaK is a much bigger weapon than the 5cm one. The 5cm weapon would have had to be employed at much lower ranges. Most of the photos in my books show the gunners crouching low behind the shield.
