Well here is the finished tank , the Tamiya M-60A1, with a DML mine plow . I went back and added some rust to the plow . I also added the support chains that run from the main frame to the plow it self . I cut the front torshin bars and re-glued them to lower the front end of the tank to simulate the weight of the mine plow. The ID flag is the good old post-it note (still gotta try the tissue paper - i know ). I used birch plywood for the sides of the base to improve the apperance of the base . Well I'm getting long winded here , so here is the tank .

You did a great job in cutting the torsion bars Carlton. It's very effective in portraying the weight of the plow. Did you have any problems shortening the two front shock absorbers? Methinks the track adjustment gizmo is also located up front.
Stowage makes the tank look more homey. Weathering is just right. Base is simple and highlights the main subject. How did you add the rust?
Nice work!

You are awesome comes to the build of modern US armors. Don't recall seeing anything you did for WW II, but comes to US modern armor, you the best Tanker/Modeler I know. Great work.

Looks really good. I especially like the pose of the figures, nice, casual touch, and the Jolly Roger on the antenna. Is that the Archer transfer?
I'm not sure about stoawge on the ERA, however. I don't think there are attachement points to hang stuff on. However, I could be wrong on this point.

Not an expert in US AFVs, but it looks good. I'd just weather a bit more the barrel on the ground that, in my view, "contrasts" a bit too much.

That really came out nice! I love the weight effect on the front end... first model of that that I've seen done 'properly'.
Very nice indeed!

Looks great, just one thing though. Would'nt the tips of the mine plow blades be more of an exposed steel color, since they have most likely be running trough the sand scratching the paint? Though the rust could make sense if they have'nt run the plow through the sand for awhile...other than that I think its a great model.

Very, very nice. I've always loved the looks of the M60 and with the mine plow, it gives this monster an extra dimension. I agree with the rest that you did a great job on cutting the torsion bars
I'll say it again: very, very nice!
greetings

Thanks for the comments guys !
First of all I have to thank Vodnik , he gave me the idea to cut the front end to simulate the weight of the plow .
CHAD : thanks ,I'm cutting a couple of other tanks . The Tamiya M-26 Pershing is a lot of my inspration for this.
JEEP : No real problems on the shocks , looks like i need to go back and add some track tension - I noticed a bit of slack after posting the rust is the steel wool idea .
SS : There will be some WW2 stuff from me one of these days
AL : the flag is a copy i got off the web cut and glued . The crew is oob . As for the storage over the ERA - ooppss i guess i need some scale 550 coard and some tie straps to fix that
SCOCCIA : I was going for a fresh WMD look with the drum , like it had only been there for a day or two
KKEEFE : Thanks , I over did the drop on the front and had to put a 2nd screw in the rear hull to pull the rear end down to make the tank sit right .
PFCGREEN : ooppss over did the rust - will fix thanks
KATHOON : thanks , the plow really brings out the beast in this tank. I have a M1A1in the works with a plow . So stay tuned

I like the figure with his helmet off. Did you Dremel out another fig's head? I also can't make out the writing on the extractor...what does it say, "turrettoad's land clearing company LTD".??
