Hello
Here a new build from me.
Itīs the Panzerwerfer 42 auf sWS from Maco.
Kit - Maco:
(Quelle: www.tamanoir-maquettes.com)
I hope i can let this.
The kit is ok. Some things are very good, some not so.....
I donīt write so much because iīm not soooo good in english.
Here the first pics.
This part is great i think.
The exhaust is drilled out.
This part is drilled out, too. Later i take a knife to finish it!
I take this to have later a struktur on the floor of the inside.
Here is the scratch radio equipment. This is because i will let most of the hatch open.
The great tracks of the kit. they are very good.
This is the first part.
Later i show some pictures from the inside of the vehicle.
Cheers Daniel

Hi Daniel
thanks for posting these pictures and comments
this is another kit I have thought of buying
its good to see your assembly and comments, the scratchbuilt radio looks effective. I've used cigarette packet foil for anti slip tread too, it looks good when trimmed and neatly affixed and painted
keep posting your progress, I'll be looking out for your updates
cheers
Neil

Daniel,
It is so nice to see another great build log. This is a very interesting vehicle and it is great to have the opportunity to see it come together. I have reviewed a couple of MACO kits in the past so I know they can have good detail. You are doing a wonderful job at enhancing the interior. I will be following this build.
Cheers,
Jan

Hello
@Neil: Thanks for your interest here.
@Pedro: Thanks for your posting.
@Jan: I will do what i can. The details will not be 100% because you can not see a lot of it when the model is ready.
So the build goes on:
Here you can see that the two hatches will stay open.
The backdoors are closed. Unhappily i was to quick with the glue.......
The scratching in the front of the vehicle. I use the bronco instructions for the build. Because the pictures from the inside of sWS are very rar.
Here a picture through the hatch. ;-)
The inside from the storage compartment.
Spacers for the backspace.
First scratch..... I do this first time! There is not many scratch at my other models.
The holder for the rockets......
......here again!
Thats it for today. Hope you like it so far.
Comments are welcome.
Cheers Daniel

Hi Daniel
its good to see your improvements.
I always think the little extras really set a model apart from a straight out of the box build. Ithink its time well invested.
cheers

Morning!
@Neil: Thanks Neil for your interest. Itīs nice to get feedback.
It is going on. The next pics.......
The holder for the rockets.
Here some ejector marks. Very bad at this place. I think itīs the big minus
from the kit. The kit has many of them, but at this place.......
Here is another scratching part. It is the useplace from the Panzerwerfer 42.
If the kit is finished you can not see much of it.
So on. A lot to do. You get the pictures in next days.
Feedback welcome.
Cheers Daniel

Hello everyone!
Here the progress. Little parts this time
Original hatches............
Sand it thin. After it i put handles on. They made by wire.
I do the same thing with tho other.
Scatched hatches for the stowage boxes.
In the back i use the same foil as in the interior.
Headphones. Sheet and wire.
I fill the holes on the Panzerwerfer 42 with glue and sanded it.
...................
Next problem it the ignition box. It is to big.
I cut it on every side. I think it is better.
Thatīs it. Hope you like it.
Have a great day.
Cheers Daniel

Hey guys
First picīs with color!
First the white color.
I make a lot of chipping in the interior. Because when the vehicle is closed it give a better outline. Itīs is a little bit to dark in the inside.
Know anybody the color of this part here??? Must it painted in black?
The drivers position.
Operating area from the Panzerwerfer 42.
Hope you like it!?!?!?
Happy Sunday
Cheers Daniel

Hello
Nothing to say??? Ok then new picīs!
Meanwhile i start with the Panzerwerfer.
--->
First i glue sheet on both sides.
Then i sandet the part thin.
i cut the imitation of the Ignition. Because i will build a new one.
At last is cut the rest off. For sanding i use this little tool.
Starting the cabling
Cable parts.
A litte sheet on the ignitionbox.
So it goes i little bit bigger.
The finished cable.
First steps of the cabling
Thats it.
------> Comments welcome!!!
Nice evening.

@SchoeniR6 - Daniel,
Excellent job on the scratch built interior items, I especially like the stowage and radios, it looks busy! Great job on the modifications and step-by-step build. Your enhancements to the kit will really add to the overall finished model.
Keep it coming,
-Eddy

Daniel,
You are doing a super detailing job and it looks great. Perhaps you should get this build insured when it's complete and keep it in a vault as it looks like it will be a masterpiece.
Cheers,
Jan

I doubted I would ever see a super detailed kit in braile scale. You've proven me wrong. An excellent bit on the scracth building. Looking forward to more.

Daniel,
Super job on that halftrack. And that's all we need is another person who can't leave things well enough alone. Thanks for sharing and the inspiration that it can provide.
Regards,
AJ

Hello
Little Update
The Tools have been revised. Sometimes the tools are to
large, somtimes they look to massive.
Look at the pics.
All tools become PE parts. The parts are from the Voyager PE set for the StuG that i build before.
Here the comparison between the two parts. Left my scratch work, on the other the box-tool.
Just a little Update, but a Update!
Cheers Daniel

you are exhibiting some very fine work on this build, impressive interior details and great detail on the firing tubes. If I ever buy one of these, your build log here will be a very useful reference

Thanks for the comments!!!
@Pedro: Thanks pedro! The model is ready for paint now........
@Neil: Thank you very much. Wish you fun with this kit. The sws is not the best kit but it has a good groundwork. With some detailling you can get a nice model.

On these pics without the tools. The come on the model after painting.
Here a picture how to make the handles. My way.
Itīs aluminiumpaper.
Comments welcome..........
Have a nice day....
