I've put some photos in my album of the M35 I'm currently working on. I've used the european merdc winter scheme for the truck an the summer counterpart for the M102. I'm planning to put the vehicle in a small scene, pulling the M102 through some kind of field. The different camouflage schemes gives some variation.
For the base coat I used an airbrush and the rest I did by hand. Still need to do a lot of weathering and putting some cargo in the back.
If someone knows a good article about weathering trucks, please help me out then. Or some pictures of trucks allready done and are very worthy to take a look at.
Here's the link to my album:

I scratchbuilt this one, on 1/16 scale.
What model is this ? I tried the wrecker by Revell, but that was really a terrible thing. Didn't look like the real M35 even with sunglasses on. The one you made looks neat. Who brought that out ? I feel like making it on 1/35 too !
BTW : nice work !

Very nice work on your truck
Both models are made by AFV-club. The pattern for the M102 was more or less done with "artistic freedom" but the one on the truck, I copied more or less from a M49 tanker version. I just drew an imaginary line where the hight of the cargo bed would be.
markings provided in the box were used. Both are very nice models, with nice details. Only my biggest problem was the rear suspension. Tooked a lot of time and nerves to get it done.

Beste naamgenoot

Sorry, guys,
Since Jan and Me share the same name and the same language, I didn't think twice about mailing him in Dutch.
I introduced him to the TB43-0209 manual of US Army on how (and especially WHERE) to paint camouflage on modern US vehicles and other hardware.
You can find it HERE
A link to remember !
Warning : big file. BIG file to download... but worth it for lovers of modern US stuff !

Jan
You're right about that : the link I refered you to is the new version of the TB43-0209 manual. It is used since the "new" NATO colors are used - somewhere around 1992.
The MERDC colors were used before that perios, starting somewhere around 1976. There is a 1976 version of the same manual with MERDC colors, but I don't know where to find it online. Maybe Sabot or someone else in the US Army can help you with that. The 1976 manual shows a lot less detail, though. The vehicles are only rough sketches...
During the late eighties and early nineties, you could see vehicles in both old and new schemes at the same time.
