just putting this idea out there, but what about a campaign for all the vehicles that fought in any battle that was between the time of normandy and all the way upto the rhine?
any nationality that fought on the western front axis or allies.
any scale
what do you guys think ?

Hello Stanley,
I am going to start Blitz 5: D-Day which will cover the landing to the Falaise Gap in about 18 months.
When are you going your start for the campaign?
Maybe we can work together and get Blitz 5 started earlier the 2013 and expand it From June 6,1944 to Oct 15,1944.
I have no problem with 2 Blitz Campaigns running at the same time.
We also can have "mini campaigns" in the larger one like I did with the Russia Campaign starting next year. Take a look a see if you like the idea.
Let Me know if you want to work together on this type of campaign,
Cheers,
Bruce

I may have to pass on this one, but I like the broad coverage. This has the potential for people to get some long awaited projects going or just relax in the less restrictive element.

Hello Stan,
If you want to just to the campaign about the fighting along and over the Rhine River, You could have some of the points like: the Bridge at Remagen , The encirclement of Model's Army, Monty's push on the Northern German Plains,
The Volkstorm or a Armored Car finding the Autobahn with the Commander looking at it in wonder.
Just a few Ideas for you to play with.
If you do this campaign, I am going to follow it for one of my Blitz camaigns.
Cheers,
Bruce

Hello Stan,
I was just giving you some ideas for your Rhine campaign.
I do not know if I will enlist in it as I have a few campaigns going on or starting up in the next few months: Ships of the Soviet Union, Marines of the World, a couple of others I think.
I can neither tell you to do a campaign or not. I was just trying to let you know about the Blitz Series and about the next one that was scheduled to start in about 16 to 18 months away Blitz 5 D-Day.
If you want to do the original campaign, Go for it and if I can help in any way, Please ask. If you want to do just a Rhine Campaign I will help you any way I can also.
Cheers,
Bruce

Stan, I think Bruces Blitz 5 is a bit in the future being that blitz 4 don't start until June 2012. So I think this campaign will make a great warm up for the Blitz 5 and since the above quote goes for my stash as well, I will have plenty of stuff. So you can count on me if it starts in the new year

@ stansmith (stanley )- You also can call it "operation cobra''.
That was the breakthrou over the rhine.
Unfortunally i can not take part of this campain. I am more an ''Eastern front''
man. Although a nice m8 greyhound or m20... Hmmm

Operation Cobra was the breakout from the thick hedges of normandy.
