Hi All
This will no doubt be posted as official news later, but over on PMMS in the "New Kit News" section there is a very exciting company "Live Resin" who will release a series of modern weapons in resin......including at lat, an M240B!!!! Hurrah!
They look too good to be true....and this may simply be a dream.....
but wow......

The heads and helmets also look good
PMMS
in the Preview pics, they got the carying handle on the M240B too far on the front

Just to clarify, the parent company is Tank but the brand label of the new series of 3D technology sets is "Live Resin",not just the process.
As with Cyberhobby/Dragon, the same parent company but different labels for different subjects. Another example is Quickwheel/Bitskrieg and on the aircraft side is Aires/Quickboost.
Cheers

Are you sure? There is a "Live Resin" figure company with the exact same HALO Spartan logo as on PMMS.
So does this mean TANK will make the items and "Live Resin" the company will sell them?
I just hope these resin guns turn out straight. Resin guns in 1/35 have a tendency to bend...

From what I understand from Terry's post is that Tahk and Live Resin are one and the same.
Similar set up to Dragon/Cyber Hobby, AFV Club/Hobby Fan, Aires/Quickboost/Wheelliant/Aerobonus, just to name a few.
Same company, just with a different name, making a different line of products.

Hi
Whilst I saw the news report by Terry over on PMMS I did remember seeing these figures (shown on site link below) come out from the company a while back. No mention on here about it being a sub division of Tank, or vice versa on the Tank site.

The Trumpy weapons kits are quite sharp- I wonder how these will stack up in terms of detail- I'm with Brian in that they probably won't be as sharp as the 3D images but the stuff does look real promising.

That's the one.
BLAST makes very good M4s as well...also with the additions as shown on PMMS. I look forward to the Live-Resin offerings, although I do have to wonder why now....kind of late considering BLAST had theirs out (and their M-16A4s) for a few years already and Trumpeter makes fine plastic M4 SOPMODs.
What's really lacking is one company that releases a 1/35 modern weapons set. I was hoping Dragon would from M4s to Para-SAWs to M240Bs. So far, no such luck...
Airborne Minaitures released nice 120mm M4 SOPMODs and SAWs. What's really needed are 1/48 and 1/24 modern weapons.

Hello all!
Thank for your interest
The site www.live-resin.com will be opened in 1-2 days
I will be presented the first 12 sets
All my 3D models make in scale 1:1 for real objects and on it are correct.
Then I rescale at 1:35 and prototype
I use rapid prototyping of the newest generation and can to make the smallest details qualitatively
I think, market dont have models of this level
I have already more than 350 models and I will give updatings each 2-3 months
Now you can buy:
http://www.milminwh.com/
http://www.bnamodelworld.com/
I have a question, models in scale 1:48 will be interesting?
As I want to tell thanks all my friends for help

Could you post photos in your Kitmaker Gallery and state the prices of some of your weapons sets? Any interest in making these guns in 1/24 scale?

I must says that your modern US helmets and M240 will be very welcome!
May I suggest you to do sets of modern boots and mountain shoes that will be very very usefull to improve all plastic figures, my scratching ones and ... some resin figures. A real need here i thinks.
Hands with tactical gloves , some that hold rifles, ammo gear should be usefull too.
1/48 sets will be interresting too since i have a few helicopters (CF46 and CH47D) that need a squad of GI's or US Marines...
Well with boots and helmets (with head or not) i'll be very happy!!
Thanks for asking projects, you gave me hope!

If you can, WW2 weapons for 1/48 would be great!!! The heads would also be welcomed to replace the Tamiya. Thanks

I really like the idea of heads with the headsets and suspension systems already on, makes sculpting that for a replacement that much easier!
If the M4's at the top of the page are any indication of the final production piece, I'm very impressed! Trumpeter's weapon are sharp, but nowhere near this quality....especially the attachments.
When can we expect these to be in the North American distributor's hands?

I like your stuff. Personally I'd like to see the new NOD mount SF started using a few years ago.
