Hello,

I want to show you my latest finished build, a M1127 Stryker RV. I used the M1134 Kit from AFV Club and some conversion sets from RealModel. The 5 figures are from Legend. The Interiour is from DToys for a M1126. With the help of some reference pictures I converted it into a M1127 Interiour.

Thanks to burik and Mke Podplesky for some reference material. Other pictures from the build can be found here.

I'm not sure if it is just the photos, but it looks too bright. All of the stowage and figures are excellent, as is the weathering. But, I think you missed the od by a few shades. I know the new od is a bit more grey than the previous shade, which was a little bit darker than that used during WWII. You may want to try MM ana od for your next modern US build. Unless, of course, it is a desert or winterized version.

Looks really good to me. The color is right on. It is not OD at all, but Forest Green, which is brighter. I would like to see more of the interior though, any better shots that show it. Also, I only see 3 figures; driver, TC, and rear gunner. Where are the other 2?

Great looking Stryker
The 2 guys are inside playing with a PC right ??
Regarding the green, it is to green for me.
and you miss to paint the exhaust cover in black with some rust pigments
did you used the AFV stickers for the periscopes ??

Overall outstanding job you did.
I like it
Cheers

Hello Seb,

yes the Stickers on the Periscopes are from AFV Club. They locking very good I think.

One men in the Stryker has a Laptop and the other one has a remote control station. On the diorama I plan I will add the HobbyFan Stryker Brigade Crewmember with drone.

The green is Fieldgreen from Vallejo Model Air.

The round cooler is from LEGEND M1A1 Stowage Set (very big set), the other is included in the RealModel M1127 RV Conversion. The rucksacks are from the RealModel Stryker Stowage Set #2 "Molle System". The side baskets are from Blast Models.

BlackDog and Legend both offers nice stowage sets. RealModel also has some nice stuff.

I think you should have a deeper knowledge base of the subject before you try to correct poeple on colors to use. The U.S. hasn't used O.D. on vehicles since the early `70s. As Gino pointed out, Strykers are Forest Green. Forest Green has been the base color of modern U.S. vehicles since the advent of the MERDC and Tri-Color schemes. MERDC goes back almost 40 years. Andreas did a very good job of nailing the color.
