Hi Damien,

Welcome along. You've chosen a neat setting for you Churchill, good work, you have nice natural looking angles and the finish looks grand. Excellent stuff. The frozen dead German adds a neat touch of the reality of war.

Always good to see another Churchill, look forward to more.

Cheers

Al

Nice work Damian ! and by the way, welcome to Armorama. i hope to see more of your work. Great white wash and mud, not too much just the right amount. This is just a guess but I think a bunch of hungry rats could strip a body to bones in a few days.

Damian,

Welcome. Obviously you have been doing this for while because your vignette looks amazing.

BTW what did you use for snow?

Hope to see more from you.

Cheers,
David.

I have the same question. Looks like salt to me. That Crocodile is amazing. After trying to quit the WWII scene, I found I just can't let go. I'll be doing a Hornisse in winter camo and would like to know how you created your ground work.

Thank you for your opinions

Snow is made of baking soda, glued using MIG acrylic resin and a hair spray. I used hair spray (together with Vallejo still water) to make a melted snow effects.

The skeleton was probably left by a hungry animals - wolves, rats, etc. Remember - this is war, no MC Donald's open
