Hmmm ... would the Buffalo fit into this? Looking for a couple of long term campaigns for the winter time and I already have one lined up ready to go.

The buffalo would be most welcome. I decided to build a Guardian in Danish service.

There is nothing to make official. No one ever submitted a campaign proposal.


Well, someone step up!! If it starts sometime this fall/winter I'll get the Buffalo kit.

Are you going to head it up for us Matt? I do hope it gets set for wintertime. Looking at Joe's (Mother) scratchbuild really made me look hard at getting a modern build going.

I have nothing like that right now.

What's the difference between "mission" and "objective"? I'm very confused. I also have yet to make the ribbon. And, it looks like there is a "competition" option???

I keep getting mixed up between mission and operation myself. The contest element is just "get a ribbon if you finish the build in time and upload a photo into the campaign gallery" sort of thing. Sometimes we do have vendors or volunteers who give prizes but that is rare.

The M1117 Guardian is not used by the Danish army.

I have seen some from the Bulgarian army in Kabul, all though i can`t remember if it was the "real" M1117 or the APC version.

They are "real" M1117, not the APC version. Echelon offers some decals for them.

The decals I got are for the Bulgarian army. Don't know how I confused them.

I changed the start end dates to 5/1/2012 and 11/1/2012. Also I am wondering if already started kits will be accepted (someone always asks).

The additional image URL only took me to Photobucket's home page. You might have to enable external people to view your pictures on Photobucket. Anyway, I use that field for a link to the campaign thread.

I am trying to keep campaigns to a 6 month duration but I can let it go to 1/1/2013.I will change that (I think only I can change that).

You said a photo of the kit has to be posted but not if it has to be an unstarted kit. I can change the wording on that if that is what you meant.

Can I build a German Boxer GTK for this campaign?? Otherwise I will build a Soviet T-62 or Leopard 2A6 CAN..

Boxer GTK is deployed by Bundeswehr in Afghanistan since 2011, so it's OK.

But you can't use the Hobbyboss kit which is a prototype.

This is awsome, now I can make a diorama of what I did in Afghanistan - a soldier sitting in front of a computer inside an airconditioned room for 10 months - JUST AWSOME INDEED!
