Here is a little update. I have been working on Oplot big time lately. At this rate, the construction will be done within a month. Everything you see that wasn't on last post is done in 3 days.
I finally started the front armor plate. It bothered me for some time how to do it, but, everything went better then expected. Now i will start with the details.
I still have to finish the left skirts thou....
Some pics:

Comments are, as always, wanted.

Best regards!

PLEASE O' PLEASE O' PLEASE tell me you will try to sell this one. I don't want to go blind or spend the rest of my life looking for the last rivet.
You really do have a very respectable build, here!
I have little to no talent scratch building. I don't make much, but I can afford a little over $130 a month and this is definitely on my wish list.

Good evening everyone! Here is latest progress on my Oplot. 95% of scratchbuilding work is done. I just need to add a few details and correct some mistakes ( to be honest, there is more than few of them ). Next time you'll see it, it will be completely built, after than covered in praimer and after that covered in camo. Until then, let me know what are your thoughts so far!

Best regards! Stefan

Stunning work... It looks like a hard work to create such a mean looking machine.
I don't have the skills to do a vehicle like that.

There must be a company, who can see the possibilities in making that model.

Thumbs up for a truly amazing job..

Thank you guys for the pics, I already got them Truth is, those were my biggest resource while making it, considering the fact that there are no plans of this tank on the net. Actually there is now, but when I started it, there were none

Tank is all painted up right now, and weathered, I will finish it these days and post it here.

Best regards!

So, here we are, at the end of my project.
It took me a year and a half to finish it, with some pauses.
You know pretty much all the details concerning construction of the model, so I will not bore you with them any more.
Painting went extremely bad. I started with some praimer, preshading and base colour with color modulation, it went well. But the camouflage itself is terrible when it comes to color picking and overspray. I don't have that much expirience with freehand painting so i kinda expected that, but was hoping to somehow avoid it. Good thing that you can achieve miracles with enemals and fading and filters and other weathering techniques. I think I brought the color to usual Russian camouflage color at the end, and there is no overspray to be seen. NOTE: this is not a camo on actual tank, but it will be painted in standard camouflage once more tanks are finished, so it is NOT a what-if! Still, no decals.
After i overcame this huge problem of camouflage fail, weathering was very fun. I like my tanks dirty and rusty and stuff, like they are not cleaned at all. I wanted to put some mud on it, but i decided not to.
I am happy with the way Oplot M came out, i like it very much. Please let me know your thoughts.
Here are photos...

So, thank you for being with me during the build.

Best regards.
