Here is my Valentine "as is today".
I found out that I made a big error with the grab handles. This will have to be corrected.
It is the IRONSIDE model : Maquette plastic parts and Azimuth resin.
It will be painted as a french tank, used in Tunisia in 1943.

PenPen,
this is real nice, I especially like your choice of subject, although I am not a big fan of British armor in WW II, but I always like the Valentine, it looked leathal for some reason to me... Good work, can't wait to see it finished.

Thank you guys !
From the pictures of the real tank : the handles should be laying against the tank, with only a small part protruding... here they are 90° off !
What's cool is that I've found a picture of the very tank I'm modeling ! It's got a lot of equipment missing, the mudgards are broken... so that's what I'm doing on this one !

Having just bought a couple of the Maquette Valentines, a Mk. III & a Mk. IX, I can appreciate how much work you've already put in to get this far.
For those who haven't seen the kits, there is so much flash on the parts that virtually every piece needs to be cleaned up prior to use, but then again its the only game in town without resorting to resin kit prices
Great work so far, can't wait to see it finished.
Happy modelling.

Nice work so far. To get the best pictures try taking them under natural sunlight without flas and put on the MACRO function on the camera.
What aftermarket is this?
