Pedro,

As always, excellently done and an inspiration to those of us with more modest skills. Can't say that I am very fond of the winter whitewash camo look but yours looks quite authentic.

Cheers,

Great whitewash technique. I'll try that on my next model.

Of note was one of the comments about the "judges".
It amazing what some people will say in their "expert" opinion. Like the judge had referance pictures of EVERY STUG III (or STUG IV or any other vehicle) that ever went into service during the entire war!
I was in armoured Recce in the Canadian military and not one of our vehicles had the same stowage set up in the field.

Excellent work on the model.

Thanks friends.

First at all, sorry for the new pictures. Always is difficult to show the effects with this colour. This is my first whitewash model, so I don't know if finally I will put snow, crew of I will make a scene. I want to see the end model.
Dave, you are right. I have been with a M-47, a AMX-30 and a AMX Roland and each vehicle and crew has a different stowages in the field.

Washes (Mig dark wash)

Oils (Ocre, dark brown and dark blue)

Regards. Pedro.

Pedro: Great looking whitewash! It's a difficult paint scheme to do and yours looks great. I haven't been game yet to give a white wash scheme a go!

Thanks for the comments.

I think my Stug is finished, although it always can be modified. In this model, I have tested some new techniques for me. With the lacquer technique, I have probed another way over rear white equipment. I have used the lacquer for dissolving Tamiya' paint. We will save a step and we will work more fastly.

I don't know if I will use figures or I will make a scene. Any idea? All comments are welcome.

More pictures in my blog.

Regards. Pedro.

@PedroA – Pedro,

Great job it actually looks real! What I like the most is the mud and running gear, the colors complement and add interest to the whitewash. I have to agree with Pepe’s, comment, it’s no more or no less than spectacular.

Nice looking banner and it takes you all the way over to your site! Great set of techniques you have featured there and excellent models.

@ppoller – Pepe,

Welcome, hope you enjoy your stay here. Hoping to see some of your work here too? Don’t be shy, OK!

Hi Pedro

Great looking Stug. Stowage is a goog contrast to the white camo.
Like the used look and the wooden parts.
Super model!!!!

Pedro,

Excellent build and very succesful weathering.
I especially like the contrast between upper and lower hull.
