Thanks for taking the time to post your steps in painting and weathering. It seems I need to go back to painting/weathering101 and retake this class!

More excellent work! I found a 38, in my stash. I will be modifying an sdkfz 7, from Trumpeter to mount it on.

Hello all.

This will be my last post on this build log and on any build logs for a while. I will still remain your feature editor and will continue to follow along to all of your work and forum threads.

The decision to end this build log has happened after I received my copy of TANKART 1 from Michael Rinaldi.

After reading his work, I understand my current skill set is not enough. I cannot continue putting time into this build log or any of my other kits until I am ready. It has made all of my work up until now look pale in comparison and I don't want to associate with it anymore.

I am going to spend the next few months / years until I am a better painter. I hope you enjoyed what I have presented. I certainly appreciated your comments throughout.

With all of that said, I highly recommend taking a look at Rinaldi's book. I think I was at the right time to really start evaluating the more advanced finishing techniques. If you are dissatisfied with your painting skills, I think you could really benefit from his work.

Again, I will still be just as active here on Armorama, but I won't have build logs for a while.

Mark
