Iron Ducks - Swimming Tanks Campaign Proposal,
Hello all, I know the campaign schedule for 2012 is already full, but lately we had a lot of nice new kits of swimming armour released and more to come so I thought about proposing this one. The basic ideas is to have a campaign for all those vehicles that can swimm or dive into water on theyr own, for example:
LWSs, LVTs, PT-76s, BTRs and BMPs, M113s and DUKWs and so on with Tauchpanzers and DD Shermans included. The vehicles would have to be build as they were when getting into the water with the special equipment attached/in place and so on. Would there be interest in something like this ?

Oh, so many choices. IJA Type 2 Ka Mi w/pontoons, STRV 103, M551, FV101 Scorpion, FV107 Scimitar with their screens erected. Unfortunately I don't think I have anything that qualifies but I wish I did.
I would suggest a start date starting from March/April (given that we have so many starting in January).

March or April would be fine, I bet that we wil see even more swimming stuff till then, considering the BTRs will come out in new versions and the AFV club has the new LVT annouced. And I almoust forgott about the old BRDM from Dragon, thats a swimmer too. I think soft skinned vehicles could be also allowed since there is a nice kits of the DUKW and M29 Weasel, and who could forgett the Schwimwagen and Jeep ?

Count me in if we can generate enough interest. Adding amphibious capabilities to armor has resulted in many weird and wonderful beasts that have always interested me.
