I have come into posession of a Towed 40mm Bofors gun. I would like to reasonably detail it. So I have two questions, are there any AM kitas or models for this AA gun? second are there any goood references for it on the web ,I've ried but come up fairly empty.

I found it pretty helpful in modeling my GMC CCKW 40mm Bofors AA Truck. Nice color photos too. The mount isn't substantially different from the towed variety...

Barrel Depot makes a Bofors 40mm aluminum barrel. If you have about $20, you can get the excellent CD reference compilation from Mike at Easy 1:
