Hi
Here is another project of Warsaw Uprising - Uprising Panther captured from Germans - called "Pudel" or "Magda."
Some history:
At 10:30 a.m. on August 5, 1944 the new Polish Panther moved into action. A distance of some 300 meters separated it from the main heavy iron gate of the compound. At first Germans Held Their Fire That thinking it was one of the armors of Their relief force. However, When The Panther easily forced open two sizeable Barricades erected before the entrance, all hell broke loose from the guard towers. The unruffled Panther approached the large gate and crushed it to the ground. At the same time, two of the tank's shells hit one of the guard towers, then another, and Eventually all eight towers were silenced. It Should Be Mentioned That The camp consisted of brick towers connected by a five-meter high brick wall - it was a veritable fortress of rectangular layout. Inside the Germans build various shop buildings, quarters for the Inmates and for themselves, Including a spacious two-story administration building.
I present to scene just before entering first barricade:
cheers

What a marvelous scene you set --- a triumphant moment in a battle of epic tragedy and superb heroism. I, too, look forward to the completed diorama, Rafal. You say this is "another project of Warsaw Uprising" --- have you orthers that we can see?

Wow Rafal! That looks cool already. I like it a lot. I too can't wait to see it painted.
And after looking a what Steve said...he may be right. After looking at it more, the right side track does look a little bit "overdone." Having said that, that little bit of exaggeration makes the scene more dramatic. (not sure if dramatic is the right word but...)

Stellar work on this Rafal- the wall and street look fantastic- not overly dirty but enough to give the viewer the image of a war-torn street. Good luck with this!

Rafal- you certainly work fast mate! Great work on the tank, finish looks suitably dirty and worn, the insignia's are nice and the articulation you've got in the running gear is a neat touch. Superb work.

When I grow up, I want to be able to paint figures like you. Seriously, if the tank and groundwork weren't enough, the figures look like they just walked out of the resistance. Keep it up and I look forward to seeing it finished.

The model is looking really superb. the amount of suspension travel is acuurate , but just barely. another few cm IRL, and the tracks would be mashing the interior of the fenders. i think there may have been some sort of flange on the torsion bars for this tank that kept the road wheels from going about higher than about where your wheels are now..
Also, I think its wonderful that someone is finally making Warsaw uprising dioramas. such a brave heroic action, but tragically doomed from the start.
This actually kind of inspires me to dig out the sculpting clay and start work on my Paris commune barracade diorama again i started a few years ago.
The Warsaw uprising and the Paris commune were very similar stories. both tragic and but courageous street uprisings , if 80 or so years apart.
keep up the good work.

Thank you, you're right - I made this manipulation on purpose. tank is in position, has a strong movement of the suspension
Do not be bidding.
Historically, the Uprisings differed much.
In any case must not be put on the same shelf.
In Warsaw, fought the Nazis in the city, displace them - did not defend its borders. They fought for something else, they and their grandfathers fought with the Bolsheviks before ... in 1920 they managed to stop the expansion in Europe - do not know what language could speak today, germany or the French ... for what vengeance in August of 1939 attacking Poland simultaneously with Germany
They also differ casualties - about 180 thousand murdered civilians - must also be added to the number of insurgents killed, wounded and missing.
BTW-communism caused a lot of evil comparable, if not greater, than the Nazis before and yet we still have tomorrow.
Relax, I'm not an extreme nationalist. I do not like slogans like "Poland for Poles"
Times have changed, people also - but with the facts - there is nothing to discuss;)
I do not remember whose words, just quote
"Forgive but not forget"
cheers
