Rafal,
I have such great respect for you and your modelling ability. You are an ARTIST! This is an amazing diorama. I also think it's a fitting tribute to the brave men, women and children who fought in the 1944 uprising. Keep up the wonderful work. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, you're right - I made this manipulation on purpose. tank is in position, has a strong movement of the suspension
Do not be bidding.
Historically, the Uprisings differed much.
In any case must not be put on the same shelf.
In Warsaw, fought the Nazis in the city, displace them - did not defend its borders. They fought for something else, they and their grandfathers fought with the Bolsheviks before ... in 1920 they managed to stop the expansion in Europe - do not know what language could speak today, germany or the French ... for what vengeance in August of 1939 attacking Poland simultaneously with Germany
They also differ casualties - about 180 thousand murdered civilians - must also be added to the number of insurgents killed, wounded and missing.
BTW-communism caused a lot of evil comparable, if not greater, than the Nazis before and yet we still have tomorrow.
Relax, I'm not an extreme nationalist. I do not like slogans like "Poland for Poles"
Times have changed, people also - but with the facts - there is nothing to discuss;)
I do not remember whose words, just quote
"Forgive but not forget"
cheers

I'm back in Warsaw in August next year, so I'll definately be visiting the "Muzeum Powstania Warszawskiego ".
My father was in the AK and we are very proud of him.

Nicely done, amigo, very nice. Terrific detail and weathering and the tracks look superb. I like the figures, please show us how lthey fit into the dio. The track placement is fine. The debris/rubble is great.
You can almost hear that thing warming up from here.

Thanks !
Paul, nice to know that.
Panther - DML
zimmerit - Atak
2 figs from Toro(one reworked)
2 figs DML(reworked)
2 figs from Warriors(reworked too)
Wall from Mini art reworked.
I added a label with the name of the street, in polish - customer request.
I've also added religious gorget of Holy Maria Ostrobramska - was hanged on the machine gun mount by the Insurgents before they attacked Gęsiówka.
Before I go back historically to Normandy, I probably do a another captured vehicle
Sd Kfz 251 Called "Starówka"
Ok finished scene:

Rafal,
Sorry I am late to this dio and build. It's absolutely fantastic, the attention to detial the theme and the excellent painting of the figures put this one off the charts in my opinion.
David.

Rafal, the tank is beautiful, but I can't view the images on the front page. Did you add the zimmerit yourself or was it already sculpted?

Wow. just Wow!
That is sweet. All the elements are well done and come together quite nicely. I love the subject matter too, not something you often see.
Your work raises the bar for what I aspire to be able to do. Bravo!

Zimmerit (ATAK) did not fit, so I made a little from the modeling mass .
I am very glad that you like such a niche topic.

It's a shame Poland is a niche topic considering the suffering it went through. It's almost never taught about in the UK, as far as I can tell.

History, you can tell it differently.
Even 20 years ago taught us the lies - today we can speak out, write, do on this subject the models .
Go out on the street together to enjoy liberty.
That Was in Warsaw 1945 .

Old,young - everyone.
If you find the time and maybe someone else you can read books such as Norman Davies about Uprising
Fair presentation of what happened.
What is important - was also written in English.
