If I'm correct, the M2, Mk19, M16A2, M249, and M60E3 were seen in Iraq in 2003. How about the other weapons?

Good review, thanks. Another kit I've been looking at lately too, I'm liking all the reviews of the Dragon Quartermaster series this past week.

SMAW and the LAW's as well as the AT4. The 249 was used, but its my understanding without that older pattern stock.

That SAW is pretty useless for an M249. Now as a NATO ally's Minimi you might have something. Stock is wrong, feed tray cover is old type but was still around a little bit by then, and flash suppressor is wrong.

Despite the question mark over the odd included item I think this set is one of DMLs best offerings for the modern figure and vehicle modeller/diorama builder. You also cannot knock it over price in these days of shrinking budgets.

DML's is basically the only plastic offering for a very long time. And for a very long time I've been asking DML to update this set. I sure hope DML still does plan to update this set. I think the first time it was sold out and now DML reissued this set, which goes to show that these DML Weapons Sets are successful, I'm assuming.

I bet a lot of other companies have based their figures, PE, and resin AM on DML's Weapons Sets.

I know the Army doesnt use the Remington 870. we've used the WInchester 1200/1300 with heatshield/bayonet mount and the Mossberg 500/590.

Theres no M240 which limits this kit to USMC desert storm timeframe basically

and frankly the mould nibs are always on the worst thinnest parts of the barrels making trimming them to be presentable a hit and miss. IMO this set isnt much better than the Tamiya WWII US weapoms set which is horrible.

Dragon would be better off with a gen 2 set with
M240B's
M249's fixed stock long barrel and telescope stock, short barrel.
M14 SDM rig
Mossberg Shotgun M500 with pistol grip breaching stock
