Decided to turn my Old Tamiya 1/35 Jumbo Sherman (Failed White Wash on it) Into a Knocked out one after seeing a Very nice Diorama On Google by someone else (Go to Google.com and Image then search for knocked out sherman should be two pictures the 2nd one should be it click it remove frame and search around the site pretty nice.)
Turret is still being weathered thats why its so glossy.
Hard part was getting the Decal over the Shell hole Well actually I just heated a Pin and went around that part and it came off easily.
Still have to paint alot of things and do some weathering on it but this is a Fun project

Very nice job on the shell hit. Are you going to show any interior burning in and around the hatches?

Its wonderful! A piece of art!
One question, how did you make that shell hole? I am curious. It looks very real!

The Shell hole was made with a dremel.
The Bit I used was pretty big so I Just did the hole half way and poked out the rest with a hobby knife to get all the way threw. Then I took a Lighter and Heated the area where the hit was and around it and deformed it a bit. The MG Bullet holes were made by twisting a hobby knife I made all of the holes then applied decals. To Remake the holes over the decals Use a heated pin.

Hi Dave,
Add a coat of eggshell gloss or semi gloss to the model to take away that sheen and make it look more metallic.
Looking good mate!
Nice touch with the hole. Might I suggest you look at work by ;
