Yesterday I finished a fast model in scale 1 / 15. This material is cardboard, cardboard and items from the resin. Building from scratch, of course ... Photos of the construction of the model, etc., are available on my blog - I invite you ....

I showed your work off to a few friends and they were amazed!

And you just happen to have my 2 favorite WWI tanks sitting side-by-side too. Very nice work again ... and using mostly cardboard too.

Jeff, cardboard and paper is a very pleasant material to model ...... Perhaps soon will be even FT17, but this model will have a whole set of resin. For now only the turret is ready and the Renault badge....

Andy, that is some of the most stunning work I have ever seen!

I would love to make one... I don't suppose you can be persuaded to do a complete build log on how you did it? I can't believe that is made from card and paper. Absolutely stunning work!

How did you make the tracks and rivets?

Andrzej, stunning... fabulous looking texture and finish. I am curious to know if that is partly a result of using cardboard. Bird poo - a super detail that really adds to the sense of reality. Also great photos - get the depth of field on photos 2 and 4 below, you had a nice bright day for it!

Murdo - trtacks and other minor things are cast in resin just ... Original details are made ​​of different materials, then the form and casting .... The pictures show what and how ....





Small invoice is made out of paint nitro plus a fine powder (flour, gypsum, talc)


Then fine sandpaper ...


That looks like up close the paint .....
