Here are some more photos of my lastest diorama. I have added some grass and a fence in the back ground, still have to finish the M26 and add chin straps to the helmets.

Nice work, its coming along very well. I just recently used that 1/2 track and that set of Tamiya Figures in The Fall - pretty nice set even for its age.
Couple of things - and I know you're still in progress so forgive me if I've jumped the gun.
The Pershing is a bit clean as compared to the 1/2 track. I'd personally would add a bit of pastel and mud to the tracks etc
The figure on the turret is a bit out of place. I really like the creative positioning you have done. The one guy seems to be out of place (at this point) - I don't know who he's showing the time too.

Andy , looking good . I have to agree with scott about the guy on the turret you might want to re-pose his head as if he is looking down at the watch and draw his arms in to his body a little bit . The log in the road is a good touch , I also like the fence . Do you have a back drop in mind ? If you need some pics of a treeline at the edge of a hay field I know where there are a few nice ones that i can take pics of and e-mail to you , then if you have a printer -or use a friends you can copy them then glue the pics to some poster board and make a nice back drop . It is almost fall here (U. S. ) so there are still some green leaves around so just let me know if you need the pics . Great work , keep it up

While we're talking figure positioning...the guy on the rear deck is straddling the exhaust, not something I'd wantto be doing for long given the heat and exhaust gasses he'd be exposed to.

Thanks guys for the comments,
Slodder,I still haven't finished construction and painting on the pershing the far sid has no tracks on it yet and still need to add all the gear on the back.
TT13, i would love a backdrop of a tree line thanks.
AJ, Thanks for the heads up I never ever thought of that!! I will probaly put him on the fars side storage boxes.
About the figure on the turret. What I think iam going to do is put the M26 commander in the cupola behind him and the commander is asking the guy on the turret for the time.

Once again thank for the comments.

Lord Kiwi.

All the elements are coming together on this dio. The working suspension on that Pershing is pretty cool, nicely brought out with your positioned log.

The figs again look to be well painted/detailed, which has always been one of your strong points.

I see some comments from others that should help to make this dio your best work to date. Keep us posted as this one moves along.

Keep it up.

Steve
