Sanitary car ZIS-16s was produced in 1939-1945 and was created on the base of passenger bus ZIS-16. It had simplificated cabin from the lorry ZIS-5 and cutted streamlined body of the base car ZIS-5.
Internal machinery of its body was settled accouts with trausport of a big number of wounded men. In front of body there were stretches in three lines (6 pieces), in the back-in two lines (4 pieces). There were ventilators and heating. ZIS-16s was used in period of WWII on the battle fields.

The resin kit from the AER build OOTB.

Very nice finish Mateusz. Did not know that the Russians also painted their vehicles in light beige like the germans.

Well done, Mateusz, although I have some serious issues with this kit. It isn't your fault, of course. I see you fell victim of those funny instructions, I mean you took the historical background from there. I cannot agree with single word written there (never mind in Russian or in English) and my advice to you is not to believe them too.
BTW, you're one of the few who ever dared to build this thing. You know what I mean.

Hi Mateusz

I don't know how accurate the kit is (or isn't) , but good work on the resin kit, it finished off nicely. Maybe its yellow as its captured and in german service ?

cheers
Neil

Maybe photos show wrong colours, but on real it's rather olive tone with very light modulate on bigger area.

Thank you for the comments.
