Hi Darren,

For reference

http://www.aeroflight.co.uk/waf/uk/army/types/horsa.htm

This looks good especially if it can be built in two parts.

Good for them for making the changes

the Glider Pilot Regiment

This is tremendous that the manufacturer has listened to the criticisms of the CAD images and is improving the authenticity of the model. Saves a lot of headaches all around later on. Bravo!!

Masterbox, having listened to the feed back, and making the nessesary changes before comitting themselves, dam fine job. My hat's off to you for making this and other kits well worth buying and building. It is companies like M.B. that step up to the plate and fill the void and are not afraid to fix misstakes, and that will ensure this company stays around a long time and that I will support them. Bravo!!!

The absolute 'must-have'!
I will certainly build it, though all my showcases are certainly too small (and filled) to keep it.
Never mind, it will hang at the ceiling of my hobby room, just like in my room during my young years, ages ago. So, even as a modeler life makes circles since I started all this hanging my Airfix WW1 planes on the ceiling.
Any idea if a pilot crew is coming? (yes, I know, we're never satisfied!)

Not much of a surprise. Now we know which "famous' company will be producing it. It was mentioned
HERE that MB was passing it off. This is a reply Bruce Heideman received from MB regarding the Horsa:

I've been following this project for several years so when I saw that it had disappeared from the MasterBox web site I contacted them. I have had the following reply:

"Thank you for your letter.

I have two pieces of news for you: good and bad news. Bad news is that we refused to make this model. Good news is that we handed over all the materials of this model to one very famous company that name we undertook not divulge so far and, as we hope, the model will appear at the markets soon".

Best Regards,
Mary,
