Hey, here are a couple of pics of the Sdkfz 251/9 Ausf. D I mentioned over in the "What are you building this month" thread. I couldn't get the Paasche double action AB to act right so I shot Testor's Acyrl through an old Testor's single action AB with the tan tip. It is my first attempt at fine lines. I thought it turned out okay. Practice, practice, I guess. This model is not nearly finished I just thought I would see what you thought of cammo.

Comments welcomed and appreciated,

Shaun

Oh, somewhat crappy pics taken in my office under really harsh fluorescent lights...

Shaun,

Looked good. Noticed the color variation on the engine cover/storage compartments, have you preshaded? Very nice.

Fine lines are hard to do, especially with a single action. You are a much brave man that I am, I have to get a better airbrush just because I need to do ambush pattern.

Can't wait to see it weathered. I had done the same vehicle like a year ago, the actual half track, not the infantry gun support one, and also my first attempt at spaghetti camos. Very nice build. only thing is the kit tracks are hard to get them down. So, I used superglue and cloth peg to hold them down to the wheels.

If you could, take some close shot pic of the gun, love to see them.

Good work so far. Shaun.

That looks damn good. Are you going to put it in a dio?

The paint looks very good, very subtle color variations which I've seena many illustrations and photos.
For future consideration, however, be careful where the side panels come together. It looks like there's a lot of glue seepage that should be sanded down.

very good blending of the camo. The colors all blend together without any sharp lines between them I like this effect very much.

It may be the lighting, but the driver's side front fender looks "cleaner" than the rest of the kit. The overall shading and color variations look great, but there's something about that fender. Good work.

VERY NICE! I like it a lot! (Though I don't think it's going to go too far without tracks... #:-) ) Another good build.

Thanks for all of the feedback guys. I have already started to dress her up. Yes, she will have have some figures and yes she is going on a dio, if I ever have time to build one. Once again, thanks for all of the help.
