This time I'm using a Tamiya M10 kit and converting it with a Gasoline Slugger. I used spares from a HobbyBoss M4A3 to change the engine deck to M10A1. I know things aren't exactly positioned right but close enough for my eyes.

Greg, another interesting one from you! Will be watching.
I've been thinking this morning on the train, it's probably time for another 1/48 scale campaign, isn't it? Unfortunately I really don't have time to take the driver's seat at the moment, so I'm hoping seomeone will launch it by himself... (hint! hint! ).
Cheers!
Stefan

You may be right Stefan, with all the new Bronco Staghounds and Blackdog gear sitting around out there, it could be the right moment. Also the Airfix stuff is coming out this year among other aftermarket goodies. I'll do it tonight. Cheers

Garfield on Track48 just posted that he hasn't checked the articles for a while do to the holidays, etc and will be updating soon. We can make the campaign for a year so there will be time to find a kit and finish.

Well somehow I broke off and lost the little vision scope thing but I think the Tamiya part or a tarp up there may work as a fix

Nice build Greg! Might just give me the motivation to finish my Master for this thing. It's a full conversion with a full upper hull and lower hull modifications. It would save you alot of cutting if you decide to build another.

Thank you Bob Your TWS hull did serve some inspiration there. A complete conversion I'm sure would be welcomed (and tempting to me to do another). Looking forward to those Panthers.

Guess I'll have to get cracking on finishing the remolding on those Panthers and then lead you down that dark path of temptation!

Well I got the RB model 50 cal on there and almost went crazy getting the little handles in the holes. One feel out and then the CA glue blocked up the tiny hole - #$@#$@#%. Scratched the little rack good enough to my liking. I'll have to go back and smooth some glue areas, corners, and seams still but that's enough for now.

I finished the TD and figure now, but I'm still going to need to figure out the groundwork. I have a pic in mind with a M36 near a building, but may need to change it.

Primer. Still trying to figure out a scene

Greg, looks good, I like the figure also. Who's the stowage from? Looks like Black Dog maybe?
Cheers!

Yep, BD and Legend. Getting it all painted and weathered right now little by little. Been so sick this week I haven't even felt like working on a model! Watching some good movies though. I'll post a pic closer to the finish.

I sprayed Tamiya OD straight from the bottle and said the hell with scale effect right now. Then I misted some Tamiya Jadf brown for the dirt over the archer decals and Verlinden mask sprayed stars. Next up are washes, streaks, and chips.

Got started on the washes and streaks. I have some more to do here I see. I dropped the turret at the end and broke off the 50 cal. Picked it up and glued it together again and called it quits tonight. You can see the black oil paint stain on the turret tarp as I dropped it into paint too of course.

I'm done as soon as this base dries and I get a chance to take pics. Might have to wait until after my Tahoe extended weekend though

Thanks Jeremy - snuck in a few pics - leaving tomorrow not much snow right now though
Well thought I was done but the turret stowage and railroad track look a little glossy so I'll have to try something to get it dead flat - any tricks welcomed!

Stefan - Thanks for the comments and keeping me motivated throughout this project I learned some new techniques with this build and I'm liking the oil paint weathering more then the pigments now for most of the work. Cheers!
