I love this build for the weathering alone. Great stuff.

love it! the same cant't be said for my 4 year old son thats says its 'stupid' cause it needs a wash, after trying to explain its meant to look like that for nearly a hour, we have agreed that this is a model on its way to the 'truck wash'
but really, i do really like this one, ive seen a few of these Meng 4x4's done and this is my fav so far i think. cant wait to get my own one and have a go myself!

Guys - a really big thanks ! I was running out of ideas on this before. I had seen a lot of battered and chipped ones. But I thought to push the mud effects - just to see how it went. Im glad I tried now!
Alex - I love your sons point of view - I can only imagine his dad keeps his car pristine. Yeah lets say this one needs a trip to the wash down point !
I will keep this going - ordered some supplies to put in the back. Also like the advice to chip the load bay.
cheers
Mark

Maek c - ah that would be the case if I had a car! but he has been down to my work and helped me wash my fork lift truck last summer.
I think that a back full of 'clutter' would look good, it would also allow you to add abit more colour with the white and mud colour you already have.

awsome build! I have one of these in my shopping cart and havnt pulled the trigger on getting it yet. Thank you for sharing. I think I might just have to get this now. Your weathering is great. Id put some dents and some damaged fenders as these crazy guys that use these trucks, use them to plow through things and the front end gets pretty beat up. Also the doors are missing sometimes. Keep up the great work!!
