Hey guys,I have been doing a little research looking for PTO allied kits, and figures, and have come up with so very little, my google searching has come across a few DML shermans, and some very uninspired resin Figures, ( alongside a sprinkle of plastic ones)
could anyone give me a heads up as to what else is out there please!? ( if there is any)

AFV Club offers an optional marking for the PTO for it's M5A1 early. The DML M3 75mm GMC also has a Saipan option. There are the LVT kits from Italeri and AFV Club, and maybe the Italeri DUKW. Academy has the M3A1 and M4A2. The Tamiya M4A3 late 75 has a PTO option in the decals. In figures, the Dragon Marines for Peleliu seem to have disappeared. The Masterbox set is labeled for January 2012. Don't know if it's true. There are a few aftermarket decal marking sets, but most are for Shermans, and they aren't too common.

Also you have a few landing craft in 1/35th and a few aircraft in 1/35th & 1/32nd. Jeeps, weapon carriers, ambulalance and half tracks are all over, plus the Stuarts, Matildas, Bren carriers and 2 1/2 ton trucks. Artillery with the 25 pounder, 105, 155 and a few other early British types along with the bofors. Figures are hard to come by besides D.M.L.'s but you also have the 1/32nd U.S.M.C. Airfix set still available. And of course you have Italeris Elco P.T. boat. And if you have a large budget, Pit Road has a variety of Jappanese navel and A.A. guns. The P.T.O. was by decree the second front for the allies, and waged war on a broken shoestring budget of leftovers. Heck, they didn't get the nickname Uncle Sams Missguiled Childeren and treated like stepchilderenas for nothing.

The other have covered most of it in the form of vehicles and Figures. DML have done at least three sets of marines both early and late. They also did a set of Japanese as did Tamiya. Tamiya, DML and Fine Molds offer a variety of Japanese tanks and AFV.
Not much out there for NZ or Australian Figures but they can be converted from 8th Army figures. The Matilda is available from Tamiya and the Valentine from AFV and Miniart (One comes with NZ Markings). Allied arty is well catered for with Bofors (both US and Commonwealth), 105's, 75mm Pack Howitzer, 2 pdr AT and 25 Pdrs from DML and Bronco.
Italeri offer LVT's, LCVP, DUKW and LCM 3 along with an 80' Elco PT boat. AFV offers an LVT 4.
Plenty out there

Hi James,
Here's a great website for modeling US figures and armor from WWII.
http://www.usarmymodels.com/index.html
http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljlist
I hope this helps you out a little.
(Hobby Link Japan) carries tons of Japanese armor from Pit Road, Finemolds, etc. Check it out.
