I have another question - what about suspension color - I think main color will be green, but what about details??

I plan to paint mine in nato camo. I found my dozer blade for my old Academy I may put it on my Tamiya M60 with the era armor.

Some excellent reference photos - they are allready proving very helpfull.

Did you notice on the hobbyboss box art OSHKOSH is written C8KHQ8H ! but thank goodness the plastic slide moulded hood - OSAKOSH just take a nick out of the A and all is ok !

Cant believe value wise "bang for your buck" you get from this model - it is a bargain when you see how much etch and detail parts you get in the box. It is half the price I would have expected to see!

As for load out - im thinking of an ISO container and a toyota hi-lux ala Meng models!

Im sure I missed it some where but is there an engine in the kit, if not I beleive i saw a post from Real Models that they were going to do one. But I could be wrong

Why did you paint it the chassis, before gluing all the parts. I think the color will be poorly bonded.

Yes, engine is not present - only bottom of it - but...is it really neccessary? It is almost the same if Tamiya not including the engine in Challenger II for example...

Todays progress - both steerable axles - each of them from around 30 parts..

I will be following this build with great interest. I plan to add one of these beasts to the stash - no idea what will be on the trailer as of this moment - so many possibilities

Since the drive shaft is connected to the oil reservoir gearbox, it is good to at least modify this detail.

Well, I think this kit will be eye catcher as it is - I don´t have a need to do it Miloslav... Maybe in the future - when I´ll build second one...

there is a overall green scheme? the only ones i ever seen was the 3 color nato and overall sand
