One from today´s progress - do you think rust is appropriate on the fifth wheel for used vehicle? I am not plan to left like this, but am curious about oppinion of you guys...

Thanks for sharing your build.
A quick question re folding the photo-etch, e.g. the sleeve around the exhaust pipe, part PE-MB8, as on step 23, page 21?
If possible, it`d be good if you can give me your experience, tips and save me from screwing up. Thx.

I forgot to post finished truck pics... 
Here it is - finished for some time now - now I am starting on trailer...pics will be later
And here is some updating of weathering during summer...the trailer hoses will be reworked before trailer connection - they are jus provisional

But if I can make a suggestion, the ranp and 5th wheel would have scratches and grease from the trailers, all trucks that are prepaired for a trailer have a layer or beads of grease on the 5th wheel, I hauled grain with Peterbuilt and a Kenworth and I had a grease gun in the rack for that.

Thanks Jim! I was already told about that grease - alghout it is not much visible on the pics, I add a lot of blackbrown stuff on the 5th wheel even on the ramp... Anyway - soon there will be a trailer connected, so I want connection possible mechanism, if you know what I mean

yes I can see it now, the rear of a truck was alwas nasty to work on, we would steam clean them every week, but that was in the 1980's I dont beleive you could do that now with all the EPA regs, we just pulled in the field cleaned the rig and dumped the oil along fences to kill the weeds. same with tractors

But anyway - I would be VERY pleased when you comment my build, make any suggestions etc...allways appreciated help from the people "from da business"
The same as I, working on airliners (A320Family/B737), allways suggests to put some dirt on the 144´s - modelers never listen... 
People love to think about airliners as about some show and shine objects

I like the detail on your trailer for the air lines and electrical, also I beleive there were hydraulics also , but I could be wrong I will have to go back to my notes, if you do a search from the internet you can find the actual Army repair books for the truck and trailer, but be aware they are thousands of pages long and its good for detail. If I can find the address I will PM it to you.
