It is very slowly progressing build... It's probably a few months now since I posted some pictures last time and there is still a lot to do to finish this model. Unfortunately lately I only spend about an hour a week working on the model
Today I tested a macro lens on my small Canon PowerShot A40 camera and took some photos of my model and decided to show them. Next week I will have a new Canon EOS Digital Rebel camera, so you can expect to see more photos from me
Here is one to attract your attention:
And here you can see all of them:

As you can see some details are not painted yet. There is some weathering appllied, but there is still much more to do. And of course main subassemblies of the truck are not yet put together. Some parts are covered with Future in preparation for washes, that's why they look glossy. It will all be sprayed with Dullcote later.

Pawel

Pawel - thanks for posting the photos. It looks like you did the old Italeri kit proud - even at this stage. It looks nice and convincing.

Amazing work Vodnik! As Jan has alreay mentioned ... the faded paint on corners is unbelievable. Especially brilliant how it is done and still preserving the camo effect! Those little tie hooks along the side will look brilliant with a nice canvass cover on the back ... have you plans to do this? The dashboard is another amazing piece! Looks like it could almost start up! Keep the pics working! Pity you cant get more time to work on this!

I will put the rolled canvas tarpaulin on the cargo bed floor along with the canvas support brackets. Only the separate front part of the tarp will be hanging on the single installed support bracket which is visible on my photos. This is the truck I'm trying to copy:

Holy cow. The detail inside that cab is immense! How in the heck did you go about
making that chain, and the seat belt ports! Red, great idea!
Looking really good, make sure to keep us posted!
