Guys
Basicaly this tank fits developement wise between a Cromwell and a Crarrioteer
The main design feature was just to accomadate a 17pder gun
on a standard hull
but i just couldnt resist adding wider Centurion tracks idlers and drive sprockets
using cromwell wheels
all comments welcome
regards Andrew

Andrew ,, ya know i like this ..hell i like almost anything with tracks but you thought along the same lines as me .wider and bigger is better , the cent tracks are big ,wide nasty looking chunks of metal and i've liked the look of those . the drive sprockets work very nicely with this ,I would see this as a super comet .
The 17pder is a nice sized gun and looks sweet with this .

Nicely don't mate

I like this, very plausible!
A reasonable backstop if the 17pdr A41 Centurion had failed?

Guys
thanks for your comments
i started this one a few months ago
the difficult bit was designing the turret
i knew it would work as the Charioteer worked with the 20pder in the 50s
the kit is the tamiya cromwell
i think ill do another one enlarging a cromwell to the size
of a Centurion sometime
regards and thanks for your interest
Andrew
