Sounds interesting, but I think the coverpicture is a bit off-putting!

Is this for real?

Sean,
If this is true, I have two MRAPs near a large lake on the Oklahoma/Texas border... The Missus is going to be upset as I told her that they were SeaDoos, not MRAPs.

From the description: "Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles are a family of armored fighting vehicles designed to survive IED attacks and ambushes."
I'm inclined to say yes, its for real and that cover image is just the default image available with whatever self-publishing tool Amazon provides. There are a lot of people making use of Wikipedia's attribution only requirement to make money off of its content. Would hardly be the first time I've seen something like this.

If you do a search on the 'editors' you'll see a series of 'book' based on Wikipedia sources. On the surface, it sounds like some folks are trying to make some $ by cutting & pasting wiki pages into print.

Looks better alright!
But do you think they're missing a marketing oppertunity by not having a hot babe on the front?
