The only modification done was to add binoculars to the wounded figure. I made the binocular straps from aluminum foil.

Dave that is a great vignette you have done, I thought the grass might be paintbrush, a very cheap alternative for many diorama projects! I myself are still planning on stringing my church's piano with paintbrush bristles. I hope to tape them down cut them to length & straighten them before gluing the to the underside of the fret board... then remove the tape.
This is one of the things I like most about modeling, the improvisation & creative aspects of it all..

Very nice! I love the attention to detail on the figures. Did you use decals for the insignia (in which case what brand) or did you paint them on? Thanks.

The breast eagles, the tank destruction patch and the collar insignia are all from Verlinden.

Dave, very nice work. I really like how you painted the edge of the base, as well. Looks like a plug lifted right out of the ground! Very well done overall! Thank you for sharing.
