Looking good, Dave. One of the best figure kits DML have ever released.

Sorry for acting on behalf of the Internet Spelling Police, but unless you want to make a point with the current title for the little scene, the correct German spelling would be "Der Krieg ist vorbei".

I'm looking forward to the next installments.

Did a little blending to tone down the o.d. camo pattern - "Old School" method of dark wash, lightened base colors applied, dry brushing and another medium wash. Still a ways to go yet -

Looking really good Dave. I agree, that is one of Dragon's best figure kits. Very useful. Do you plan on touching up the wheels? I can see some overlap of the rubber and rim.

The painting on the figures are absolutely amazing! Some of the best I've seen on here! Keep up the good work. I am definitely looking forward to more.

Hi Dave. Beautiful little scene. The figure painting looks good ... especailly the unifmorms ... good shadows and highlighting, but the faces could do with a little more of this ... especailly highlights. The skin tone is nice .. just needs some definition IMO.

Dave great looking scene there with that old tamiya kit, figures look outstanding, dont forget to throw a couple of K98's on the ground as well being that the figures are wearing ammo pouches

Hey Dave, Great job thus far. What are you using for the tall grass? it looks really good from all angles. You have done a really good job at the matted down grass too. Overall I like your scene very much. Reminds me of one of the first dio's I ever did was a pak 40 as well.

Zon, Jeremy and Dave, thanks for the kind comments. Dave, the tall grass was cut from an inexpensive natural natural bristle house painter's brush, set into the Celluclay mixture will it was still wet then once dried into place, airbrushed a couple of shades of green.
