Hey guys, another one Rolls off the Line. Hobbyboss 1/48 M4a3 76 OOB, nothing changed.!

all brush painted with a custom Tamiya OD mix, Chipped with Vallejo neutral grey and a Gloss black/brown mix 60:40 Brown.
Washed with Oils, then Faded with the dot filter method.
Some A.K rust streaks, and AK mud with plaster for the clumpy stuff.
Enjoy.

unfortunately the tracks shrunk after some hair drying so they are bowing a little at the front, and I just noticed i forgot to paint the MG. ( 50 cal will be added when i find it!)

Looks great. 48 scale is a lot of fun to build. Especially how complicated todays super kits are, i like the simplicity of todays 48 scale kits.

James - fast work there. The mud looks good under there on the front hull. That Staghound sure does look sweet. I may have to get one too sooner or later.

Looks awesome Les. Haven't built a HB 48th kit, just the Tamiya offerings so far (StuG III, Tilly, M10 and Tiger I Early). I too was drooling over the 48th Staghound today. I stopped in to pick up some workable 500mm T-34 tracks and always hit the 1/48th armor aisle at the LHS to see if anything catches my eye. I have the 35th Staghound I'm getting ready to start for the "Sands of Israel" campaign. I may pick up the 48th Staghound for the 1/48 Campaign Part Deux.
