Impressive here Venom---the dio is well balanced and composed. The figures posing looks quite realistic.
This is a great start---please keep us posted as you progress.
Thanks for the pics.

hi guys
thanks for your kind word...
mikeli125: I'm very busy with work and study, so I don't have too many spare time for my models...I think it will be a LOOOONG work...
the heads are Icm or Tamiya
chip: the Icm figures aren't too nice, some quite good (soviet troops) , the quality of rebells are insufficient. The hill was did with some small containers covered of plastilina, called Dash. I think it have the same name all around the world. I use an half kilogram for covered all and give a real aspect at the hill-small mountain
mar6874: yes I want to use your photos and some others Porkchop sent me , thanks
regards...happy modelling

I think that the Soviet war in Afghanistan is an excellent idea for a diorama because its not something you see every day. Keep up the good work!

yes I chose this because it's particular, and you can't see it every day.

nicec looking dio and Very clear work. The story is obvious to the viewer.
Two thoughts though.. I'm not sure the captured rocketlauncher in the ground is appropriate to the time frame. An RPG or the Russian vers of the LAW would look good.
and
You might place one of the figs on the top of the vehicle looking off to the back left, behind the vehicle and one looking off to the front left corner. Keeping an eye in all directions as it were.
Very nice groundwork and the cammo looks great!
Maybe make them a bit dusty, but the pattern is great.
